NSIC is a joint venture company established in March 2002 by The Gale Company LLC (a.k.a. Gale International) and POSCO Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. for the purpose of developing the International Business District located in Songdo International City. It was selected as the project owner/developer of the International Business District according to the “Act on Designation and Management of Free Economic Zones.” NSIC has entered into a land supply agreement with the City of Incheon on 20th March 2002 for the International business District Development Project. According to the terms and conditions under this agreement, the land will be bought in stages and developed into an international business district. NSIC also entered into an agreement with Gale International (Korea) LLC on Master Plan Development, pursuant to which Gale International (Korea) has been performing the duties of a developer on behalf of NSIC.
